▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
By the moon, 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 Verily, that [hell-fire] is Indeed one of the great [forewarnings] 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 About the criminals, 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 Nay, but they do not [believe in and hence, do not] fear the life to come. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
