By no means! By the moon, 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 except the Companions of the Right. 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 “What took you into the hell?” 42 They will say: "We were not of those who prayed; 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder, 49 As if they were asses taking fright 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Aye! every one of them desireth that: he should be vouchsafed scrolls expanded. 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
