By no means! By the moon, 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 In Gardens they will question 40 and will ask of the criminals, 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will say, "We were not of those who prayed, 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 And we have been belying the Day of Requital. 46 Till death overtook us. 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 As they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 By no means! But they fear not the Hereafter, 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 they will only take heed if God so wills: He is the Lord who is worthy to be feared: the Lord of forgiveness. 56
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
