No, by the moon! 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 A warning to mortals, 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 except the people of the right hand 39 In Gardens they will question 40 about the sinners. 41 “What took you into the hell?” 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 “Till death overcame us.” 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 fleeing -- before a lion? 51 Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded! 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
