No, by the moon! 32 And the night when it departs, 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 [dwelling] In gardens [of paradise,] they will inquire 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Aye! every one of them desireth that: he should be vouchsafed scrolls expanded. 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
