▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Nay! By the moon 32 by the retreating night, 33 And by the dawn when it brightens, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 A warning for people -- 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 Except the Companions of the Right Hand. 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 concerning the sinners, 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 And so, of no benefit to them could be the intercession of any that would intercede for them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were asses taking fright 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets). 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 And they shall not heed unless Allah willeth. He is the Lord of piety, and the Lord of forgiveness. 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
