No! By the moon 32 By the night when it departs. 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 except those of the right hand 39 [dwelling] In gardens [of paradise,] they will inquire 40 about the sinners. 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will say, "We were not of those who prayed, 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 So, the intercession of intercessors will not avail them. 48 Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 Nay, but they do not [believe in and hence, do not] fear the life to come. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
