No! By the moon 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 Surely, it is one of the gravest things, 35 it is a warning to man, 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 "And we used to belie the Day of Recompense 46 Till death overtook us. 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 As they were frightened asses 50 fleeing -- before a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
