By no means! By the moon, 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 A warning for people -- 36 A warning unto him of you who shall go forward or who chooseth to lag behind. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 “Till death overcame us.” 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them -- 52 No! They do not fear the Hereafter -- 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
