Nay, and by the moon, 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Every soul is held in pledge against its own deeds, 38 save those who shall have attained to righteousness: 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 About the guilty: 41 “What took you into the hell?” 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Nay, every man of them desires to be -- given -- scrolls unrolled. 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 and whoever wills may take it to heart. 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
