No, by the moon! 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 it is one of the greatest trials, 35 a warning to mortal man 36 To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 who will be in Paradise 40 About the guilty: 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 And plunged into useless things with those who were obstinate, 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 Never! In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
