Nay, by the Moon 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 A warning unto humankind 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 and will ask of the criminals, 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 we fed not the needy, 44 and we were wont to indulge in sinning together with all [the others] who indulged in it; 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 until certainty came upon us [in death]." 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Forsooth, each one of them wants to be given scrolls (of revelation) spread out! 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
