Nay! By the moon 32 by the retreating night, 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 Save those who will stand on the right hand. 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 What hath brought you to this burning? 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers. 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 until the Inevitable End [death] overtook us." 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded! 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
