No, by the moon! 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 And [by] the morning when it brightens, 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 except the Companions of the Right. 39 who will be in Paradise 40 About the criminals, 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 and they shall reply, "We were not among those who prayed; 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 until there came to us the certainty. 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them -- 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 There is no doubt that the Quran is a guide. 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 they will only take heed if God so wills: He is the Lord who is worthy to be feared: the Lord of forgiveness. 56
