Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
I say the truth, and call the moon to witness, 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 by the brightening dawn, 34 This is but one of the mighty (portents), 35 A warning for people -- 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 And we have been belying the Day of Requital. 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 No indeed; surely it is a Reminder; 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
