Nay! By the moon 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 And [by] the morning when it brightens, 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 it is a warning to man, 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 Except those of the right hand 39 In Gardens they will question 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will say, "We were not of those who prayed, 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 until the Inevitable End [death] overtook us." 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Nay, every man of them desires to be -- given -- scrolls unrolled. 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
