Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
No, by the moon! 32 and by the night when it recedes, 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 Surely it (hell) is one of the gravest (misfortunes), 35 A warning for people -- 36 To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. 37 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except those on the right side. 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 running away from a lion? 51 Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded! 52 Never! In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
