Nay; I swear by the moon, 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 As a warning unto men, 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Save those who will stand on the right hand. 39 in Gardens they will question 40 About the criminals, 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it], 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 What is the matter with them that they turn away from this Reminder, 49 As they were frightened asses 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 By no means! Verily this Qur'an is an admonition. 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 And they shall not heed unless Allah willeth. He is the Lord of piety, and the Lord of forgiveness. 56
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
