NAY, but consider the moon! 32 and the night when it retreats 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 a warning to humans, 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 "What was it that brought you to Hell?" 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 “Nor used to feed the needy.” 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 And they will not receive admonition unless Allah wills; He (Allah) is the One, deserving that mankind should be afraid of, and should be dutiful to Him, and should not take any Ilah (God) along with Him, and He is the One Who forgives (sins). 56
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
