Nay, by the Moon 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 As a warning unto men, 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 “Nor used to feed the needy.” 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
