Nay, by the Moon 32 and the night when it retreats 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 it is a warning to man, 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 About the criminals, 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
