Nay, verily: By the Moon, 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 Verily, that [hell-fire] is Indeed one of the great [forewarnings] 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 A warning unto him of you who shall go forward or who chooseth to lag behind. 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 about the sinners. 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 and they shall reply, "We were not among those who prayed; 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers. 45 And we have been belying the Day of Requital. 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 WHAT, THEN, is amiss with them that they turn away from all admonition 49 As if they were asses taking fright 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 And they will not remember, except that God wills; He is worthy to be feared, -- worthy to forgive. 56
True are the words of God the Almighty.
