No, by the moon! 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 And [by] the morning when it brightens, 34 Lo! this is one of the greatest (portents) 35 Warn the men. 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 Except the Companions of the Right Hand. 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 Concerning the guilty: 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 “Nor used to feed the needy.” 44 "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers. 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 Never so, as this is a reminder. 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 they will only take heed if God so wills: He is the Lord who is worthy to be feared: the Lord of forgiveness. 56
