Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ I do call to witness the Resurrection Day; 1 and by the self-reproaching soul! 2 Does man (a disbeliever) think that We shall not assemble his bones? 3 Yea! WE are Able to put together evenly his finger-tips. 4 Nay! (Man denies Resurrection and Reckoning. So) he desires to continue committing sins. 5 He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?" 6 So when the sight becomes dazed, 7 And the moon will be eclipsed, 8 and the sun and the moon are brought together, 9 On that day man will cry: Whither to flee! 10 No! There is no refuge! 11 With your Lord alone will be the retreat that Day. 12 Then man will be told what he had sent ahead (of good) and what he had left behind. 13 Nay! man is evidence against himself, 14 even though he may veil himself in excuses. 15 Do not move your tongue with it (the Revelation) to hasten it. 16 Lo! upon Us (resteth) the putting together thereof and the reading thereof. 17 Therefore when We have recited it, follow its recitation. 18 Again on Us (devolves) the explaining of it. 19 Nay! But you love the present life, 20 And leave alone the Hereafter. 21 Countenances on that Day shall be resplendent, 22 looking up to their Sustainer; 23 And on that day some faces will be ghastly. 24 believing that a crushing calamity is about to strike them. 25 Never so, for when life withdraws into the clavicula, 26 And it is cried. who can charm? 27 And he knoweth that it is the parting; 28 when his legs are brought together [when affliction is combined with affliction]; 29 Unto thy Lord that day will be the driving. 30

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
