Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection; 1 No! I swear by the reproachful soul! 2 What, does the human think We shall never gather his bones? 3 Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips. 4 Rather, the human desires to continue in his immorality, 5 He asks: When is the day of resurrection? 6 When, then, the sight shall be confounded. 7 and the moon eclipsed, 8 and the sun and the moon are joined together, 9 On that Day shall man say: whither is the fleeing. 10 No, there shall be no (place of) refuge. 11 With thy Sustainer, on that Day, the journey's end will be! 12 On that day, people will be informed of all that they had done and all that they were supposed to do. 13 Nay! man is evidence against himself, 14 Even if he presents his excuses. 15 [Prophet], do not move your tongue too fast in your attempt to learn this revelation: 16 We shall be responsible for its collection and its recitation. 17 And when We read it, follow thou the reading; 18 then it will be for Us to explain it. 19 Nay, (ye men!) but ye love the fleeting life, 20 And you have forsaken the Hereafter. 21 [Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant, 22 Looking at their Lord. 23 And some faces, that Day, will be sad and dismal, 24 Thou wilt know that some great disaster is about to fall on them. 25 Nay, when (the soul) reaches to the collar bone (i.e. up to the throat in its exit), 26 And it is cried. who can charm? 27 (the angels of mercy or the angels of wrath,)" then, he will realize that it is time to leave this world. 28 and when leg is intertwined with leg, 29 The drive will be, on that Day, to your Lord (Allah)! 30
