Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection 1 No! I swear by the reproachful soul! 2 Do men think that We shall never be able to assemble their bones? 3 Yea! We are able to make complete his very fingertips 4 Aye! man desireth that he may sin before him. 5 He asks: “When will the Day of Resurrection be?” 6 But when the sight is dazed 7 And the moon is buried in darkness. 8 And the sun and the moon will be united. 9 That Day will Man say: "Where is the refuge?" 10 No, there is no refuge. 11 unto thy Lord that Day is the recourse. 12 On that day, man will be informed of all what he sent ahead and left behind. 13 Nay! Man will be a witness against himself [as his body parts (skin, hands, legs, etc.) will speak about his deeds]. 14 Even if he presents his excuses. 15 Move not thy tongue concerning the (Qur'an) to make haste therewith. 16 Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation. 17 Thus, when We recite it, follow thou its wording [with all thy mind]: 18 It's explanation is upon Us. 19 None except you, O disbelievers – you love what you have, the fleeting one. 20 and are oblivious of the Hereafter. 21 Some faces will on that Day be bright with happiness, 22 Looking at their Lord. 23 And (other) faces on that day shall be gloomy, 24 Thinking that some calamity was about to fall on them; 25 Nay, but when the life cometh up to the throat 26 And it will be said: "Who can cure him and save him from death?" 27 And he knoweth that it is the parting; 28 And one shank is entangled with the other shank. 29 unto thy Lord that Day is the drive. 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
