Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Nay, I swear by the Day of Resurrection; 1 And I swear by the self-reproaching soul. 2 Does man (a disbeliever) think that We shall not assemble his bones? 3 Surely We are able to reform even his finger-tips. 4 Nay! (Man denies Resurrection and Reckoning. So) he desires to continue committing sins. 5 He asketh: When will be this Day of Resurrection? 6 So when the eyes will be blinded by light. 7 And the moon becomes dark, 8 And the sun and the moon shall be joined. 9 Man shall say on that day: Whither to fly to? 10 Alas! No refuge! 11 On that day, the station is only towards your Lord. 12 Then man will be told what he had sent ahead (of good) and what he had left behind. 13 nay, but man shall against himself be an eye-witness, 14 even though they make excuses. 15 Stir not thy tongue herewith to hasten it. 16 Verily upon us is the collecting thereof and the reciting thereof. 17 And when We have recited it to you [O Muhammad SAW through Jibrael (Gabriel)], then follow you its (the Quran's) recital. 18 Then lo! upon Us (resteth) the explanation thereof. 19 Truly, you love immediate gain 20 And leave the Hereafter. 21 Some faces will be radiant on that Day, 22 Looking at their Lord (Allah); 23 and some faces will on that Day be gloomy, 24 Thinking that some calamity was about to fall on them; 25 Never so, for when life withdraws into the clavicula, 26 And it is cried. who can charm? 27 He will then realise it is the parting, 28 And one shin will curl up with the other shin. 29 To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession. 30
