Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ I do call to witness the Resurrection Day; 1 And I swear by the self-reproaching person (a believer). 2 Does man think that We will not assemble his bones? 3 Yes, We are Able to put together in perfect order the tips of his fingers. 4 But man would fain deny what is before him. 5 He asketh: when will the Day of Resurrection be? 6 When the eye is bewildered, 7 And the moon will be eclipsed. 8 and the sun and moon are brought together, 9 That day man will say: "Where can I find escape?" 10 Never! There is no refuge! 11 With your Lord alone will be the retreat on that day. 12 Then man will be told what he had sent ahead (of good) and what he had left behind. 13 Nay, man will be evidence against himself, 14 even though he might make up excuses. 15 Move not your tongue concerning (the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) to make haste therewith. 16 It is for Us to collect it and to promulgate it: 17 When We have recited it, follow its words attentively; 18 Then it is for Us (Allah) to make it clear to you, 19 But no. You love this transient life, 20 and neglect the life to come. 21 Some faces will on that Day be bright with happiness, 22 and will be looking towards their Lord; 23 And on that day some faces will be ghastly. 24 Thinking that some calamity was about to fall on them; 25 Never so, for when life withdraws into the clavicula, 26 and it is said: 'Who is a healing chanter' 27 And he knoweth that it is the parting; 28 And leg will be joined with another leg (shrouded) 29 On that day, the herding will be only towards your Lord. 30
