Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ No! I swear by the Day of Resurrection. 1 And I swear by the self-reproaching soul. 2 Does man (a disbeliever) think that We shall not assemble his bones? 3 Indeed, We have the power to restore his very finger tips! 4 But man desires to continue in sin. 5 'When will the Day of Resurrection be' he asks, 6 When the eye is bewildered, 7 And the moon will be eclipsed, 8 And the sun and moon are joined together,- 9 On that day man will cry: Whither to flee! 10 No! There is no refuge! 11 To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence. 12 On that Day man will be informed of what he sent forward (of his evil or good deeds), and what he left behind (of his good or evil traditions). 13 Nay, man will be evidence against himself, 14 And even if he presents all the excuses he has, none will be listened to. 15 [Prophet], do not move your tongue too fast in your attempt to learn this revelation: 16 Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation. 17 And when We read it, follow thou the reading; 18 It's explanation is upon Us. 19 None except you, O disbelievers you love what you have, the fleeting one. 20 and leave be the Hereafter. 21 Some faces that Day shall be Nadirah (shining and radiant). 22 gazing upon their Lord; 23 And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted, 24 Knowing that they will be subjected to a torment that breaks the backs. 25 Never so, for when life withdraws into the clavicula, 26 And there will be a cry, "Who is a magician (to restore him)?" 27 (the angels of mercy or the angels of wrath,)" then, he will realize that it is time to leave this world. 28 and calf is inter-twined with calf. 29 On that day, the herding will be only towards your Lord. 30

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
