Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ NAY! I call to witness the Day of Resurrection! 1 and by the self accusing soul (that you will certainly be resurrected). 2 Does man think that We cannot [resurrect him and] bring his bones together again? 3 Surely We are able to reform even his finger-tips. 4 Yet man is sceptical of what is right before him. 5 He asks: "When will be this Day of Resurrection?" 6 When the sight is dazed, 7 the moon eclipsed. 8 And the sun and the moon are brought together, 9 people will say, "Is there anywhere to run away?" 10 No indeed; not a refuge! 11 Unto thy Lord is the recourse that day. 12 On that Day, man will be told of all that he has sent before and what he has left behind. 13 nay, man shall be a clear proof against himself, 14 Although he may put forth his pleas. 15 Move not thy tongue with it to hasten it; 16 Indeed assembling the Qur’an and reading it are upon Us. 17 So, when We recite it, follow thou its recitation. 18 then it will be for Us to explain it. 19 None except you, O disbelievers – you love what you have, the fleeting one. 20 And neglect the hereafter. 21 On that Day there shall be radiant faces, 22 Waiting for their Lord. 23 And on that Day there shall be scowling faces, 24 Thou wilt know that some great disaster is about to fall on them. 25 Nay; when a man's soul reaches up to the throat, 26 And they will say, “Is there any one – any magician?” 27 (the angels of mercy or the angels of wrath,)" then, he will realize that it is time to leave this world. 28 and leg is intertwined with leg, 29 That Day the Drive will be (all) to thy Lord! 30
