Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Nay! I swear by the day of resurrection. 1 And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection]. 2 Thinketh man that We shall not assemble his bones? 3 Yes indeed; We have the power to remould even his finger-tips. 4 Nay, but man desires to continue on as a libertine, 5 He asketh: When will be this Day of Resurrection? 6 but when the sight is dazed 7 and the moon is eclipsed, 8 And the sun and the moon are brought together, 9 That Day will Man say: "Where is the refuge?" 10 No! There is no refuge. 11 On that day, the station is only towards your Lord. 12 Man will be apprised, on that Day, of what he has done and what he has left undone: 13 In fact man is a witness against himself, 14 Even though he were to put up his excuses. 15 Move not your tongue with it, [O Muhammad], to hasten with recitation of the Qur'an. 16 We shall be responsible for its collection and its recitation. 17 So, as We recite it, follow its reading. 18 Then indeed, to explain its details to you is upon Us. 19 By no means! Verily ye love the Herein. 20 and neglect the life to come. 21 Some faces will on that Day be bright with happiness, 22 Waiting for their Lord. 23 And some faces, that Day, will be sad and dismal, 24 dreading some great affliction. 25 No indeed; when it reaches the clavicles 26 And they will say, “Is there any one – any magician?” 27 and he knows that it is the time of parting; 28 And affliction is combined with affliction; 29 Unto thy Lord that day will be the driving. 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
