Al-Insan 2 of 2
It is We Who have sent down the Qur'an to thee by stages. 23 Wherefore persevere thou with the commandment of thy Lord, and obey not thou of them, any sinner or ingrate. 24 and remember the name of your Lord, morning and evening; 25 and in the night prostrate to Him; and exalt Him for a long night. 26 Lo! these love fleeting life, and put behind them (the remembrance of) a grievous day. 27 We created them and made firm their make, and when We please We will bring in their place the likes of them by a change. 28 This surely is a reminder: Therefore whosoever desires may take the way to his Lord. 29 But you cannot will it unless God wills [to show you that way] -- God is indeed all-knowing and wise -- 30 He maketh whom He will to enter His mercy, and for evil-doers hath prepared a painful doom. 31
