Indeed, it is We who have sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Qur'an progressively. 23 so be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord, and obey not one of them, sinner or unbeliever. 24 And glorify the name of your Lord morning and evening. 25 and during some of the night, and prostrate thyself before Him, and extol His limitless glory throughout the long night. 26 Surely these men love the hasty world, and leave be behind them a heavy day. 27 [They will not admit to themselves that] it We who have created them and strengthened their make - and [that] if it be Our will We can replace them entirely with others of their kind. 28 Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way. 29 But you cannot will, unless Allah wills. Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise. 30 He is Merciful to whom He will; but, for the harmdoers He has prepared for them a painful punishment. 31
