Indeed We have sent down the Qur’an upon you, in stages. 23 Wherefore persevere thou with the commandment of thy Lord, and obey not thou of them, any sinner or ingrate. 24 And remember thou the name of thy Lord in the morning and in the evening. 25 and prostrate yourself before Him at night, and extol His Glory during the long watches of the night. 26 Lo! these love fleeting life, and put behind them (the remembrance of) a grievous day. 27 It is We Who created them, and strengthened their skeleton; and We can replace them with others like them, whenever We will. 28 This is an admonition: Whosoever will, let him take a (straight) Path to his Lord. 29 But you cannot will it unless God wills [to show you that way] -- God is indeed all-knowing and wise -- 30 He makes whom He pleases to enter into His mercy; and (as for) the unjust, He has prepared for them a painful chastisement. 31
