Indeed, it is We who have sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Qur'an progressively. 23 Wherefore persevere thou with the commandment of thy Lord, and obey not thou of them, any sinner or ingrate. 24 Mention the Name of your Lord, mornings and evenings. 25 And during the night prostrate to Him and exalt Him a long [part of the] night. 26 Surely men love what hastes away and forget the grievous day (ahead). 27 [They will not admit to themselves that] it We who have created them and strengthened their make - and [that] if it be Our will We can replace them entirely with others of their kind. 28 Surely this is a Reminder; so he who will, takes unto his Lord a way. 29 (The virtuous mentioned in this chapter) want only what God wants. God is All-knowing and All-wise. 30 He will admit to His Mercy whom He will and as for the Zalimun, (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.) He has prepared a painful torment. 31
