Al-Insan 2 of 2
VERILY, [O believer,] it is We who have bestowed from on high this Qur'an upon thee, step by step - truly a bestowal from on high! 23 Therefore be patient with constancy to the Command of thy Lord, and hearken not to the sinner or the ingrate among them. 24 And remember the name of your Lord morning and evening. 25 And bow in homage part of the night, and glorify Him far into the night. 26 Indeed, these love the hasty life, and are heedless and leave behind them a heavy Day. 27 It is We Who created them, and We have made them of strong built. And when We will, We can replace them with others like them with a complete replacement. 28 This is an admonition: Whosoever will, let him take a (straight) Path to his Lord. 29 Yet you will not unless Allah wills; surely, Allah is the Knower, the Wise. 30 He will admit to His Mercy whom He will and as for the Zalimun, (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.) He has prepared a painful torment. 31
