Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 To the day of decision. 13 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 for an appointed term? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
