Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 For a known term? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 The living and the dead, 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
