Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 To clear or to warn. 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the time comes for raising the little girls (buried alive) -- 11 For what day is it timed? 12 For the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false]! 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 For a known calculated term. 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 The living and the dead, 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
