Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Surely, what you are promised must come to pass. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 and the sky is rent asunder, 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 Till a limit known? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 For the living and the dead, 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
