Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 For the living and the dead. 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40
