Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 and the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy [so many of] those [sinners] of olden days? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 until an appointed time? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 The living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 which - behold! - will throw up sparks like [burning] logs, 32 as black camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40
