Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 The living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 as black camels. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
