Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 Till an appointed term, 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
