Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 If one asks, "To which day have such calamitous events been postponed?" 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 until an appointed time? 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
