Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 separating one from another, 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 The mountains reduced to dust and blown away, 10 and when the messengers are brought together at the appointed time -- 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 For the living and the dead, 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
