Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 To the day of decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier peoples? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 Till an appointed term, 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 for the living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
