Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts, 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 Surely, what you are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 For what day is it timed? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier peoples? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 For a known calculated term. 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 For the living and the dead, 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
