Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell). 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 The living and the dead, 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
