Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 Till an appointed term, 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
